PHTA Award Winning Pools

Each year the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA – formerly APSP) holds an industry-sponsored awards program where pool builders anonymously send in their projects for judging. Judges are made up of other PHTA Member Builders and they evaluate each contractor’s submissions with no knowledge of whom they are judging for optimal impartiality.

Hawaiian Pool Builders won the 2022 Award of Excellence for three of our pools, competing with other pool builders across the country.

Judging is based on size & quality of work, ability to overcome obstacles, aesthetics, overall style and equipment set up.

Notably, Hawaiian Pools won the prestigious Chairman’s Award in the commercial pools category during the 2006 APSP International Awards of Excellence ceremony on November 30, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
